EVERSPACE 2 Launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S August 15, 2023!

After a successful PC launch earlier this year with an 81 Metacritic rating and 88% Very Positive rating on Steam, we’re now bringing space exploration toon next-gen consoles! EVERSPACE 2 is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on August 15, 2023.

The two years we spent in Early Access developing for our PC launch has served us well in the lead up to our release on consoles and we’ve used the last few months polishing an already rock-solid foundation. Whether you play on Xbox or PS5, both versions take full advantage of each platform to deliver a smooth and flawless experience.
On Xbox, Game Pass players will be able to hop in the pilot seat and explore more than 100 handcrafted locations across multiple star systems as EVERSPACE 2 launches on the service, day 1. PC Game Pass and Microsoft Store players can also enjoy the game on Xbox Series X|S through Play Anywhere support. On PlayStation 5, EVERSPACE 2 will take full advantage of DualSense controller haptic feedback, adaptive trigger, and speaker features, tying gameplay with in-hand response.
In addition, Series X and PlayStation 5 players can look forward to exploring the star systems of EVERSPACE 2 in 4K 60 FPS.
And of course, EVERSPACE 2 on consoles have all the content space fans loved in the PC version:
- 30+ hours of main campaign story, fully voiced in English and German
- 90+ total hours of exploration including side missions, puzzles, secrets, and location challenges
- 6 semi-open star systems to explore
- 100+ Unique, hand-crafted locations
- 9 player ship subclasses featuring 4 tiers, each class with their own perks and ultimate abilities
- 7 different factions to encounter, each with multiple distinctive enemy ship and defensive unit types with their own abilities
- 7 companions to recruit, each with their own set of upgradable perks
- A massive array of customization options for each ship, plus unlockable transmogging
- Collectable blueprints unlocking crafting and dismantling options
- Hundreds of different equipable weapon and gear types
- Ancient Rifts endgame content where players push their luck against increasingly difficult waves of enemies to unlock powerful legendary weapons and gear, each with a unique property
- A wide variety of radiant faction jobs that unlock valuable reputation bonuses
STEELBOOK RETAIL VERSION
We want to give our console community a collector edition they can proudly display on their game shelf! We have teamed up with publisher Maximum Games to bring a special Stellar Edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S to retailers worldwide on October 3, 2023.
The EVERSPACE 2 Stellar Edition will come packaged in an attractive steelbook along with a 64-page artbook and digital soundtrack download. We’ll have more to share about the Stellar Edition soon, so stay tuned!
